Electrasy in Northampton
On the 5th November, up and coming UK band Electrasy took Northampton’s Roadmender by storm. The venue may have been small, but for the audience this made their blasting indie-rock all the more enjoyable. Starting with their debut single “Lost In Space”, they played most of their current album and also treated the listeners to sneak previews of tracks from their next one.
Audience-interaction seemed to be the name of the day, as lead-singer Ali invited a member of the audience up to sing the female’s part in Best Friend’s Girl (their new single).
It was Morning Afterglow itself that shot Electrasy up the charts and got them noticed. Hence they saved this song till last, making for a fantastic finish as the whole audience sang along almost drowning out the band. A special mention must also got to great Möa, the Icelandic support-act who certainly dispelled the myth that all support acts have to be bad.
